Airdancer performs original jazz compositions by Christian Pincock, moving between intricate ensemble writing and open improvisation. At its center is the quadapod, an instrument Pincock created that combines valve trombone, an organ pedalboard, and custom-controlled electronics. With saxophone and drums, the group explores shifting textures, rhythmic interplay, and unexpected turns.
